AHM3 Network analyzer.

 

El AHM3 is designed to be used for the measurement and calculation of electrical variables such as voltage, current, frequency, power, power factor, energy, harmonic components etc. in low-voltage power distibution. 

 

It is capable of single-phase, two-phase, or three-phase measurement and can be used in two-wire, three-wire, for-wire, TN, TT and IT systems. There are four interfaces on the meter for modules which are used to extend funtions.

The AHM3, can be considered one of the most complete market analyzers providing different solutions to industrial level.

  

We emphasize the following features:

   

- In addition to showing the typical electrical variables of a network such as voltage, current, frequency, power factor... shows up to 63th harmonic signal. This value reports on the quality of the existing signal, thus protecting the possible failure, deterioration or warming in the connected machines and saving money to the user.

 

- Can be programmed for single-phase, three-phase 3-wire, three-phase 4-wire, nominal current 1 and 5 Amps and nominal voltage up to 690 V AC

  

- Its capacitive keypad provides high quality and durability unlike conventional mechanical keyboards.

  

- Available in two languages; Spanish and English.

 

- Display waveforms.

    

- It has 4 interfaces on the back to add additional modules.

13 DIFFERENTS MODULES ADAPTED TO YOUR NEEDS

AHM3 Network Analyzer has 4 interfaces on the back so that the user can connect it to any of the 13 additional modules available, making it a equipment fully adapted to the needs of the user.

 

It has modules for analog inputs and outputs, digital inputs and outputs, modules with communication protocols such as Ethernet, WiFi, GPRS... modules for temperature measurement and even a memory module up to 8MB.

Instantaneous electrical parameters are change into DC current signal output through DM5 module. If this module is installed onto meter, relative interface will be displayed. The current value shown in the interface is theoretical value in present status.

Left picture shows 2 theoretical value of analog output.

No.1: 4.00 mA;

No.2: 8.20 mA.

It can be programmed in 4-20 mA mode where 4 mA is Zero and 20 mA is the full scale, or 4-12-20 mA mode where the average value of 12 mA is included.

 

Available variables are:

- Voltage,

- Current,

- Active power,

- Reactive power,

- Apparent power,

- Power factor,  

- Frequency.

 

Lower limit value and upper limit value of analog output are primary 5 values. Upper limit value should not be longer than two times of rated value. 4-12-20mA analog output mode is only valid for active power, reactive power, apparent power and power factor.

At left shows digital input and output state.  

The digital outputs can be configured as alarm output mode or as remote control output mode.

 

In the example on the left the digital output 1 is in alarm output mode  and the 2nd in remote control mode.

In alarm mode can be configured the pulse width (0-9999) x100ms, the output variable, the primary limit value, the value of hysteresis, delay (0-9999) x100ms and whether or not you want to lock.

 

The variables to choose in alarm mode are:

 

- Harmonic distortion rate in V and I.

- Unbalance current and voltage.

- Frequency.

- Power factor.

- Active, reactive and apparent power.

- Current I1, I2 and I3

- Average value of current.

- Voltage line to line.

- Voltage V1, V2 and V3.

- Average value of voltage.

 There are 4 working modes of the digital inputs

3. Backup of the billed energy (Effective in module DM9)

4. Status monitoring 

 

DM7 module is used for setting tariffs from its first digital input. There are four digital inputs available. Tariff is judged by meter according to digital input status. Status 0000 corresponds to T1, and Status 1111 corresponds to T16.
